I came to Massage and Mindfulness Meditation through two different routes over 25 years ago:
I first learned massage at a local evening class when my children were small and loved to use it on family and friends to soothe aching and sore muscles.
Around the same time, I began to learn how to meditate and developed a particular interest in
mindfulness meditation and mindful living. I attended workshops and weekend retreats at the Buddhist Centre in Dublin, Ireland.
When my children were grown, I returned to full time education and completed an Applied Psychology BSc (Hons) degree course at IADT. I was particularly interested in studying the latest research on Mindfulness, and I still keep up to date with the research.
I’ve also completed two ITEC Diplomas in Holistic and Sports Massage with Holistic College Dublin and I spent two years studying Spiritual Energy Healing with the Anú Centre. Along the way, I also picked up qualifications in Learning and Instruction, Tutoring and a certificate in Counselling.
I teach Mindfulness Meditation and Mindful Living as well as Happiness Studies, on a one-to-one basis, or in 8 week courses for groups of up to 12 people.
I’m delighted to work from the beautiful Dublin Holistic Centre in South William Street, Dublin 2 where I can combine my Spiritual Healing, Holistic Massage and Mindfulness skills.
I also practice Massage, AND give Mindfulness workshops in the Dublin Mountains, in Kilmashogue Lane, Rathfarnham. This is the perfect tranquil venue for meditation, healing and restoration.
